The Kenya Project

We are thrilled to partner with the Kenya Assemblies of God (KAG) and their dynamic campus ministry, The Journey, as our first international initiative with International Life.

Our relationship with The Journey spans over 17 years of mission trips, consulting, training, and deep friendship. This long-term connection has laid a strong foundation for the work ahead.

Why Kenya?

The KAG has an ambitious and inspiring vision: to plant 100 urban churches in the next 10 years. International Life is honored to support this goal by focusing on strategic church plants near university campuses, where The Journey is actively engaging students.

Currently, The Journey is present on five university campuses and aims to expand to ten campuses within five years. Our collaboration includes not only university ministry expansion but also equipping them to reach diverse cultural groups across East Africa.

How We’re Partnering

We are committed to walking closely with our friends in Kenya through regular in-person visits as well as remote support. Our partnership includes:

  • Strategic assessments and vision casting

  • Leadership training and development

  • Ministry structure advisement

  • Resource development and sharing

  • Team dynamics and health training

  • Coaching in cross-cultural discipleship and spiritual growth

Through frequent trips to Kenya and consistent online coaching from our Missouri base, we are helping to strengthen leadership, build effective ministry teams, and support church planting efforts that will impact Kenya and beyond.
